POLICE HUNT THUGS WHO BIT AND PUNCHED WOMAN IN BELFAST

Police hunting thugs who attack a woman in the Ardoyne area of north Belfast

DETECTIVES are hunting thugs who bit, punched, kicked and stamped on a 45-year-old woman in the Ardoyne area of north Belfast.

The victim was walking home shortly after 3.30 am yesterday morning she was approached and assaulted by a number of people at Flax Street.

She was taken to hospital with an eye injury and bruising and bite marks to her body.

Police have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
