POLICE charge man over arson attack on house

A MAN is to face a court tomorrow accused of carrying out an arson attack on a house.

The 28-year-old has been charged with arson endangering life following a house fire in County Antrim.

Six people, including two children, were in the house in Elizabeth Avenue when the fire started at about 10pm on Friday.

Fire crews were called to the scene but all six people had managed to escape before tenders arrived.

A police spokesman said no-one was seriously injured in the fire.

The man is due to appear before Coleraine Magistrates Court tomorrow.
