LEADING food and beverage company Robert Roberts has brewed up the perfect Christmas gift for coffee lovers this year – the Robert Roberts Coffee Connoisseur Club.

Running from January to December 2013, this is a Christmas gift that just keeps on giving and will see members being treated to some of the finest and rarest coffee beans from around the world every six weeks.

The highly sought-after coffee beans will not be commercially produced and Robert Roberts’ Master Blender Garath Scully will carefully select high quality beans from around the world, which will then be hand roasted and delivered straight to each member’s door with detailed origin, preparation and tasting notes.

Garath has just returned from a coffee buying trip in Central America where he visited some the outstanding coffee farms that he intends to include for club members this year.

“The coffee beans selected throughout the year will be from some of the finest, small scale producers in the world such as family run or community operated farms and coops that produce distinct coffees thanks to the local micro-climate, social conditions and sometimes unusual preparation methods,” said Garath.

“The coffee beans that are represented throughout the year are deemed too rare or expensive for large scale retail production and this year I will be including beans from places such as Central America, Kenya and Indonesia,” he said.

“At Robert Roberts we believe that knowing where the beans come from really adds to the experience of tasting new coffees so each delivery will arrive with information of the product’s origin as well as detailed tasting notes from me.

“Being a member of the club is a very special treat and I think it would make the perfect Christmas gift for coffee enthusiasts,” Garath added.

Membership to the Robert Roberts Coffee Connoisseur Club is strictly limited and will only be open to new members until December 31.
