Police advise part of the M1 motorway is shut due to lorry fire

POLICE have advised motorists to avoid a stretch of the M1 motorway on Wednesday evening.

The section of the M1 in both directions between J9 (Moira) and J10 (Craigavon/Lurgan) is shut because a lorry is on fire.

Drivers are asked to take an alternative route.
