Police charge man over Ards airport drug offences

DETECTIVES have charged a man with drugs offences after he was detained at Newtownards Airport on Sunday.

The 29-year-old is accused of possessing class A drugs and possession with intent to supply.

He is due to appear at Newtownards Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

A 63-year-old man also arrested in connection with the incident has been bailed pending further police enquiries.
