Army bomb experts at the scene of a suspicious object in north Belfast

THERE is a security alert in north Belfast.

Army technical officers are at the scene after a suspicious object was uncovered at a house on the Cavehill Road.

As a result, residents at the house and adjoining property have been evacuated.

The alarm was raised at 10.15am.
