Brett Wild, 40, remanded in custody at Belfast Magistrates Court on £120k drug charge

A man has faced a court charged over the seizure in Belfast of an estimated £120,000 worth of herbal cannabis.

Brett Wild was accused of having Class B drugs and possession with intent to supply.

Police seized the cannabis after stopping the 40-year-old in the Castle Street area of Belfast city centre on Wednesday evening.

Wild, of no fixed address, appeared on the charges before Belfast Magistrates’ Court.

He was remanded in custody to appear again next week by video link from Maghaberry prison.
