A 41-year-old man has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and attempted criminal damage.
It is believed that the charges are in relation to an incident in the Fairgreen Street area of Irvinestown on Saturday.
He is due to appear in court on Friday 9 August.
Detectives arrested the suspect on Saturday about the possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, common assault and threats to kill.
The man was arrested after police received a report at around 6.40pm that the man had arrived at a house and made threats to a woman aged in her 20s.
It is also believed that a man in the house was assaulted but did not require hospital treatment.
