Belfast’s first poet Laureate Sinead Morrissey reads from her poem in the City Hall

THE Lord Mayor of Belfast Councillor Mairtin O’Muilleoir has appointed a poet laureate for Belfast.

Sinead Morrissey was unveiled at launch of the Lord Mayor’s ‘Vision for Belfast’ at City Hall today.

She is pictured reading extracts from her poem ‘Cycling at Sea Level’.
