Man to face Omagh Magistrates Court charged with GBH

POLICE have charged a man with grievous bodily harm to another male.

The 19-year-old victim was attacked in Cookstown’s Monkey Lane on Sunday, August 4.

The PSNI say a 29-year-old accused is also charged with possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.

He is due before Omagh Magistrates Court later on Tuesday.

The charges are subject to review by the Public Prosecution Service.
