POLICE are investigating after a man died when the car he was travelling in collided with a horse.
The accident happened at about 12.30 am on Wednesday morning in Omagh, Co Tyrone.
Four other men who were in the car during the crash on the A5 Doogary Road were taken to hospital for treatment.
One is said to be in a serious condition.
The injuries of the other three men are not said to be life-threatening.
The horse involved in the collision died at the scene.
Police have reopened Doogary Road after it was closed for a period to allow for a crash scene investigation.
