AROUND 4,000 people are running in Belfast’s first ever half marathon on Sunday.
The Deep RiverRock Belfast City Half Marathon started at 9 am at Belfast City Hall.
The 13-mile race snakes its way via Stranmillis and the Lagan Valley towpath to finish at the Mary Peters track.
Money raised from the run will go to the official charity for the event is Cancer Focus Northern Ireland.
