Police investigating cause of fire which led to woman’s death

POLICE are investigating after a woman died following fire in the garage of a house.

The fire at Oakleigh Park, off the Brownstown Road in Portadown, was reported to police shortly after 7.20 am on Monday morning.

Detectives, crime scene investigators and firefighters are still at the scene.

They are trying to find out how the fire started.

Police have not yet named the woman who died.
