The scene of the helicopter crash at a pub in Glasgow

A POLICE helicopter has crashed into the roof of a pub in Glasgow.

The Police Scotland helicopter SP99 was involved in the incident at The Clutha pub on Friday evening.

There are reports of a number of people being injured and several people trapped beneath the helicopter and inside the pub.

An major emergency has been declare with fire crews and paramedics at the scene.
