MAN INJURED IN PARAMILITARY KNEECAP SHOOTING

The victim is understood to have sustained gunshot wounds to both legs after two men entered a house at around 10.00 pm on Sunday night.

It is believed his injuries are not life threatening.

Police have appealed for anyone with information about the shooting in Kerrigan Drive in Derry’s Brandywell district to contact them at Strand Road Police Station on 0845 600 8000.
