RAISING FUNDS… Gavin Carroll, General Manager at the Merchant Hotel celebrates raising £6,500 for the Children’s MRI Scanner Appeal with Dr Deirdre McPeake from the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children.

The money was raised through a variety of fundraising initiatives, including last season’s Fashion Teas at The Merchant Hotel.

The Children’s MRI Scanner Appeal was set up to raise the funds needed to purchase and run a scanner within the The Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children, which is the only children’s hospital in the UK without an MRI Scanner.
