POLICE in North Belfast have arrested a 42 year old female and a 43 year old male on suspicion of hate crime motivated criminal damage and assault.

It follows the report of a disturbance in the Rosebank Court area of Belfast on Wednesday, 28th May.

PSNI officers were alerted around 8 pm after a 30-year-old female was assaulted and her front door damaged during the incident.

The 42 year old female has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

The 43 year old male has received an adult caution.

Police are treating this as a hate crime incident.
