DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s E District’s Tactical Crime Unit have charged a 31 year old male with offences relating to a number of crimes on 20 December, 2013.

Following an intense investigation, with support from colleagues in An Garda Siochana, the 31 year old has been charged with:

* attempted burglary;

* three counts of burglary;

* criminal damage;

*  and two counts of hijacking.

The offences relate to a number of incidents in the South Armagh area just before Christmas.

He will appear before Newry Magistrates’ Court on 9 July, 2014.

As is normal procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
