2 POLAR PLUNGE… The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) and the Law Enforcement Torch Run have joined forces with Belfast International Airport to call on the public to get freezin’ for a reason this December and sign up to the annual charity Polar Plunge in aid of Special Olympics Ulster. The Polar Plunge challenge, which takes place at the airport on Friday December 5, aims to raise thousands for Special Olympics athletes. Challengers will be tasked with jumping into the pool – in freezing December temperatures – to raise vital funds to support local Special Olympics athletes. Free parking will be available on the day for those taking the plunge.
