DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Major Investigation probing the murder of Nelson Cheung in Randalstown last week have been granted an extension by a crown court judge to quiz five of the six persons already in custody
The 65-year-old was brutally stabbed to death in the early hours of last Thursday, January 8 while returning from his restaurant with his wife Winnie.
Their car was forced off the road by two other vehicles on the Caddy Road.
Detective Chief Inspector Eamon Corrigan said, “ We have been granted extra time to question two females age 16 and 32 and three males aged 14, 32 and 33 years.”
The sixth person a man aged 25 years also remains in the PACE custody suite in Antrim Police Station at this time.”
