POLICE have this afternoon arrested five people in north Belfast.
They were detained in the Cliftonville and Rosapenna areas following a vehicle pursuit.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Police pursued the vehicle, stolen earlier today from the Antrim Rd, with the aid of the Air Support Unit.
“The vehicle was ‘stung’ with a stinger tyre deflation device.
“The five have been arrested on suspicion of motoring offences.”
The suspects are currently in the holding suite at Musgrave PSNI station.
