POLICE are investigating after three people were involved in a serious car crash between on Friday evening.

The accident happened between Carryduff and Ballynahinch, Co Down and among the injured was a pregnant woman.

The collision happened on the A24 Carryduff Road and both police and paramedics attended the scene.

The crash involved three vehicles.

Diversions were in place for several hours until the scene was cleared.
