DETECTIVES are investigating the report of an incident at a house in the Roddens Crescent area of Castlereagh, east Belfast yesterday evening.

Police received a report around 5 pm that a man aged in his 80’s, was assaulted by two masked men whilst he worked in the yard outside his home.

The men dragged the elderly occupant inside his house and proceeded to search the property.

The man was not physically injured as a result of the incident and it is unclear at this time if anything was taken.
