A 25-year-old man has been charged over an attack on a man in a seaside town in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police say a 36-year-old was assaulted in Bangor’s High Street area at around 1.30 am.
The victim was taken to the Ulster Hospital for treatment on injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.
The arrested man has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent.
He will face Newtownards Magistrates’ Court on Friday, July 15 for a first remand hearing.
