DETECTIVES  in Bangor have charged a 29 year old man with arson endangering life.

He is due to appear at Newtownards Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Friday, June 24.

As is normal procedure the charge will be reviewed by the PPS.

It is understood the charge is in relation to an incident in the Shorelands Crescent area of Cloughey in the early hours of Thursday, June 23where a parked car was set alight.

An 18 year old man arrested in relation to the same incident has been released pending a report to the PPS.
