The dramatic moment thieves break in to steal £15,000 worth of ski wear in east Belfast

DETECTIVES are hunting thieves who made of with around £15,000 worth of ski wear from commercial premises in east Belfast.

The burglary happened at Cedarhurst Way in the Castlereagh area of east Belfast around 10.15 pm last night, Wednesday, October 19.

Police say at least three people – using a white Ford Transit van with a sliding door on the passenger side – are believed to have been involved.

Among the items stolen were North Face and Dare 2b branded jackets, trousers and fleeces.

Officers have asked anyone who saw this vehicle or anything suspicious in the Cedarhurst Road/Beechill Road area of Castlereagh to contact them on 101 quoting reference 1340 19/10/16.
