A pedestrian is in a critical condition in hospital after being struck by a car.

Police said the incident happened earlier this morning on Cardinal O’Fiaich Square in Crossmaglen, south Armagh.

The square has been closed while police conduct an investigation into the incident.

Diversions are in place.
