BREAKING NEWS…MAN CHARGED OVER UDA FEUD MURDER OF GEORDIE GILMORE

Geordie Gilmore shot dead by south east Antrim UDA in March this year

DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Terrorist Investigation Unit have charged a man with the UDA feud murder of Geordie Gilmore.

The 32-year-old was one of five men arrested in Carrickfergus on Wednesday under section 41 of the Terrorism Act.

He has now been been charged with Gilmore’s murder at Pinewood Avenue in the twon on March 13 this year.

He is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court tomorrowFriday 29 September for a first remand hearing.

As is normal procedure the charges are reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

Four other men arrested on Wednesday were released earlier today pending a report to the PPS.

Two men are currently remanded in custody charged with Gilmore’s murder.
