Geordie Gilmore shot dead by south east Antrim UDA in March this year

DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Terrorist Investigation Unit have made fresh arrests today over the UDA feud murder of Geordie Gilmore over six months ago.

Detective Inspector Darren McCartney said: “Detectives from Serious Crime Branch investigating the murder of George Gilmore in Carrickfergus on March 13 have this morning arrested four people in the South East Antrim area. 

“Three women aged 24, 31 and 36 and a 30 year old man have all been taken to Musgrave Police Station where they are helping police with their enquiries.”

Last week a man was remanded in custody charged with Gilmore’s murder.
