Man to face Ballymena Magistrates’ Court over murder of Polish man

DETECTIVES have charged a 36-year-old man with murder in connection with the death of a man near Rasharkin in 2017.

Polish national, Eugeniusz Sinko, 53, was found dead at an address on Townhill Road on Sunday, October 22.

The accused is due to appear at Ballymena Magistrates’ Court later today, Thursday, May 17, for a first remand hearing.

A police spokesperson confirmed that the charges are due to be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service (PPS).
