TWO CHARGED AFTER POLICE CAR CHASE ACROSS BELFAST

THE PSNI has charged an 18 year old male with a number of motoring offences following a police chase across Belfast.

The teenager has been charged with dangerous driving, failing to remain at a road traffic collision and driving whilst disqualified.

He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court today, Friday, July 27.

A 32 year old man was charged with permitting using a motor vehicle without insurance and owner failing to give information regarding driver.

He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court onĀ Wednesday, August 22.

As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.

The charges are in connection with two road traffic collisions in the Clifton Street area of Belfast and Newtownards Road yesterday, Thursday, July 26.
