DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Terrorism Investigation Unit have arrested a 44 year old man under the Terrorism Act.

The arrest forms part of an operation against violent dissident Republican activity.

Two men, aged 39 and 43, were arrested and a number of properties searched in north and west Belfast overnight and today (Thursday, 4 October).

All three men are being questioned at the serious crime custody suite at Musgrave Police Station.
