MAN REPORTED TO PPS FOR UVF MURDER OF IAN OGLE

Murder victim Ian Ogle beaten and stabbed to death in east Belfast in January this year

A 37 year old man who was arrested in February on suspicion of the murder of Ian Ogle in east Belfast on Sunday 27th January, has been reported to the PPS for the offence of murder.

Three men have already been charged with the 45-year-old’s brutal murder close to his home at Cluan Place in east Belfast.

Last week Mark Sewell was remanded in custody charged with the father-of-two’s stab murder.

He was also reported to the PPS for attempted intimidation.

Mr Ogle was brutally attacked to the head and then stabbed 11 times to the back.

A number of other people have been reported to the PPS for withholding information from detectives on the murder inquiry.
