DETECTIVES from PSNI’s Paramilitary Crime Task Force supported by colleagues in Border Force and working with HMRC have arrested four men and a woman today over a counterfeit goods scam.

The men – aged 55, 29 ,23 and 23 and one woman aged 49 – were detained earlier today, Friday, September 13, at Belfast International Airport.

They were arrested on suspicion of offences related to the importation and possession of counterfeit goods from abroad.

All five suspects have been taken to the PACE custody suite at Antrim Police Station and are assisting detectives with their enquiries.
