DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Public Protection Branch investigating the allegations of ill-treatment of patients at Muckamore Abbey hospital have made a fresh arrest.

The PSNI say detectives arrested a 36 year old female this morning, Monday, December 16, in the Antrim area.

There are no further details at this time.

A number of men had previously arrested as part of the inquiry and have been released on police bail pending further police investigations.
