DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Public Protection Branch investigating the allegations of ill-treatment of patients at Muckamore Abbey hospital have made a fresh arrest.

A 28 year old female was detained this morning, Wednesday, March 28, in the Antrim area. 

There are no further details at this time.

This is the 7th person arrested to be detained a team of specialist detectives set up to probe the abuse at Muckamore hospital of vulnerable patients.
