TWO TO FACE COURT OVER MASS BRAWL IN MARKET DISTRICT

TWO men arrested in connection with a brawl in the Friendly Street area of Belfast’s Market district on Thursday, April 23 have been charged to court.  

Both males are due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on Saturday, April 25 via video link for a first remand hearing.

They have been charged with criminal damage, riotous behaviour and possession of an offensive weapon.

As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

During the incident men were captured on mobile phone cameras armed with weapons and wearing gloves.
