DETECTIVES have charged a 37-year-old man with a number of offences including blackmail, obstruction and theft.

He is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday, July 30.

As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

The charges are in relation to threats to release compromising information in respect of a number of individuals.
