DETECTIVES investigating an incident at the Michael Ferguson roundabout in west Belfast on Monday, September 14, have charged a 46 year old man with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court today, Tuesday, September 15, for a first remand hearing.
As is normal procedure all charges are reviewed by the PPS.
The charges are over an incident when he was stabbed with a machete.
A 17 year old male arrested in connection with the incident was released on bail pending further police enquiries.
