A 43 year old man has been charged with two counts of arson, arson being reckless as to whether life would be endangered and arson endangering life with intent.

He is due to appear at Newtownards Magistrates’ Court today, Friday, April 9.

As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

The charges are in relation to a number of bins set alight in Holywood on Thursday, April 8.
