Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a report of a stabbing in north Belfast yesterday evening (Tuesday, December 21).
It was reported just before 6pm that a man had been conveyed to hospital after sustaining a number of stab wounds following an incident in the Cliftonville Road area.
Detective Sergeant Gardiner said: “It was reported that the victim was involved in a verbal altercation with two males, one of whom was armed with a knife.
“The man, aged in his twenties, sustained serious injuries as a result of the incident and, while our enquiries are ongoing, we are appealing to anyone with any information to contact us on 101 quoting reference CW 1578 21/12/21.
“Were you in the area between 5pm and 6pm? Did you see anything that may help with our investigation or do you have dash-cam or other footage?
