DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Major Investigation Team probing the brutal stabbing to death of Aidan Mann have charged a a 36-year-old man with his murder.
The 28-year-old talented tattoo artist was knifed to death in Downpatrick’s Church Street on Monday, January 3 around 11 am.
The suspect has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
He is due to appear before Newtownards Magistrates Court via videolink on this morning, Wednesday, January 5, for a first remand hearing.
As is usual procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
