Detectives investigating a shooting incident in east Belfast in September 2021 have arrested a 43-year-old man.
Detective Inspector Bell said: “The man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
“The offences are in relation to an incident in the Kilberry Park area of Dundonald on Thursday, 23rd September, when a man was taken to hospital with gunshot wounds to both legs.
“Our enquiries are continuing and anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have any information in relation to it, is asked to call 101 quoting the reference number 1786 of 23/09/21.

This is the second arrest in connection with this shooting incident.
A 33-year-old man was arrested in December 2021 on suspicion of attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, various motoring offences and drug offences.
