Detectives investigating the murder of Mark Hall in Rodney Drive, west Belfast, on Saturday , December 18, 2021, have arrested a 40-year-old man on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.

The man was arrested in Belfast this morning, Tuesday, January 25, and remains in custody at this time.

The investigation continues and anyone with information is asked to contact detectives on 101.

Police revealed at the weekend that the two gunmen arrived at Rodney Drive last December in a silver car with a taxi sign fitted to the roof before shooting Hall dead in front of his sick mother.
