A MAN has been charged over a Paramilitary Crime Task Force probe into west Belfast UDA drug dealing.
The 37 year oldhas been charged with possession of a class A controlled drug, possession of a class A drug with intent to supply, possession of criminal property, converting criminal property and possession of a class C drug.
He is to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court today, Saturdaym February 26 for a first remand hearing.
As is normal procedure all charges are reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
The charges follow searches conducted by the Paramilitary Crime Task Force in west Belfast on Friday as part of an ongoing investigation into suspected drugs criminality linked to the West Belfast UDA.
Around £37,000 of suspected cocaine and £5,000 in cash was recovered during the searches.
