Detectives from the PSNI’s Organised Crime Unit have charged a 49-year-old man following the recovery of Class B drugs worth an estimated £150,000 from a lorry in the Belfast Harbour area on Thursday, March 31.
The charges include possession of a Class B controlled drug with intent to supply, being concerned in supply of a Class B drug and failing to comply with the condition of a firearms certificate.
He is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court this morning, Friday, April 1, for a first remand hearing.
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
