Detectives have charged a 66-year-old man with the murder of Alyson Nelson.

He is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Wednesday, April 20, for a first remand hearing.

As is normal procedure all charges are reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

The charges relate to an incident in the Victoria Avenue area of Whitehead on Saturday, April 16.
