Detectives investigating a serious assault at the Clifton Drive and Cliftonville Road area of north Belfast on Monday 18th April, have charged two men.

Two men aged 30 and 28 years old have been charged with a number of offences including attempted murder.

They are due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, April 20, for a first remand hearing.

As is usual procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
