BeniCon is a reunion of the cast and crew of the hit TV Show ‘Benidorm’ on November 18th -20th, 2022 – and everyone is invited!
This unique immersive event will include an exhibition of costumes, sets and mementoes from the show, Karaoke in Neptune’s, key location visits around Benidorm, a star-studded Gala Reunion Show hosted by show creator Derren Litten at the Benidorm Palace and lots more. You can even stay at the Solana!
Derren Litten, creator and writer of hit TV Show Benidorm and Jake Canuso, who played lustful Solana barman Mateo Castellanos, arrived into Benidorm by Pink Cadillac to announce details of BeniCon; a reunion of the cast and crew of the hit TV Show ‘Benidorm’ on November 18th -20th 2022 – and everyone is invited!
Cast members already confirmed for BeniCon in November include Sheila Reid who played Madge Harvey, Sherrie Hewson who played Solana Manageress Joyce Temple-Savage, Jake Canuso who played Mateo Castellanos, Asa Elliott as himself and Crissy Rock who played Janey Yorke, the first Solana Manageress. More announcements will be made as cast members confirm availability.
The convention is being hosted by the Melia Hotel and will run for three days with scheduled Q&As with creatives and crew who worked on the show, costumes and props, along with plenty of opportunities to meet the cast attending, quizzes, best costume awards, themed bars and location hunts. There will also be additional trips to locations such as Peacock Island and the Algar Waterfalls that were featured in the show. Ticket holders can also stay at the Sol Pelicanus Hotel, which featured in the show as the famous Solana Hotel.
Of course, there will be karaoke in Neptune’s and a chance to perform on that famous stage! The immersive element of the event is what makes it really unique as ticket holders live the Solana dream dressed up as their favourite characters from the show. The weekend’s climax will be the star-studded Gala Reunion Show at the Benidorm Palace, hosted by Derren Litten, the TV show’s creator and writer.
