TWO ARRESTED OVER DRUGS AND ‘DIRTY CASH’ SEIZURE IN EAST BELFAST

Detectives from the PSNI’s Organised Crime Branch have arrested two people following the seizure of suspected Class C drugs.

Assisted by local police, detectives searched two properties in east Belfast area earlier today, Wednesday, November 23.

A quantity of suspected Class C drugs, ‘dirty cash’ and electronic devices were seized.

A 32-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman arrested remain in police custody at this time.

Detective Chief Inspector Pete Mullan said: “Through Operation Dealbreaker and with the support of partner organisations, we will continue to tackle the supply, use and harm caused by illegal drugs. 

“We’re grateful for the support of local people, and I’m keen to reiterate our ask for anyone with information, or concerns, to get in touch on 101.”
